Hi. I'm Michael Stevens.

I'm a Software Developer based in San Francisco. During my year in AmeriCorps, I realized my passion for programming when I built a database application to track community outreach. I continued to program as an English teacher in Thailand, where I built an Android app in my spare time. I realized that I wanted to pursue software development seriously, so I attended App Academy, an intense programming bootcamp where I learned Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, computer science fundamentals and algorithms.

Some of my recent projects.

Lately I've been focused on Rails, ReactJS, and React Native.
